- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with NEC and state/local codes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues across clinical and non-clinical environments.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, lighting, motors, generators, emergency systems, and other electrical infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to work orders and emergency calls to maintain critical hospital operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work and inspections.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and assist with plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or general maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with hospital policies and Joint Commission standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours emergency response as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities.
- Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
- Complete annual education requirements.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Report to work on time and as scheduled.
- Wear identification while on duty.
- Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations.
- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices.

- Attend regular staff meetings and in-services.
- Current North Dakota Master Electrician License (or the ability to obtain one prior to start date).
- Desire 5 years of commercial or institutional electrical experience; healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to perform non-electrical maintenance duties and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Must pass background check and health screenings required for hospital employment.
