
Tactical Command and Control Specialist (TacC2)

- Decompose functions related to Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) into TacC2 requirements and assist with development and fielding of cloud-based solutions to plan and execute USSF protect and defend missions.
- Maintain and leverage technical expertise in relevant industry standards for cloud computing and virtualization technologies, cloud deployment techniques, and cloud service models (e.g., infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service).
- Assist in performance of functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate TacC2 requirements into Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), Statements of Work (SOW), Technical Requirements Documents (TRD), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and architecture products.
- Provide technical engineering support to Government Program Manager (GPM) to assess program progress and identify issues within TacC2 development, verification, deployment, operations, and sustainment; provide technical and programmatic status and recommendations for improvements to GPM.
- Develop and deliver documents and briefings to communicate work or study status and brief government and industry as required.
- Ensure TacC2 solutions meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and nine (9) years or more experience with:
- Tactical Command and Control systems and subsystems, including mission tasking, mission planning, space vehicle commanding, telemetry processing, mission data processing, data dissemination, and mission reporting.
- Cloud-based solutions, architecture, and technologies.
- Agile software development.
- DoD RMF.
- Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
- Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.
- Advanced degree in engineering, science or related technical field, with at least seven (7) years' experience.
- Experience within the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area.
- Experience working in development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program office.
- Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer, INCOSE CSEP, ITEA CTEP, Agile PM/PO, etc.).
- Experience with USSF Space Warfighting Operations, including Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Offensive Actions and Defensive Actions.
- Pay Range: $160,000 - $200,000 (based on years of experience and education)
