
Assistant Regional Financial Controller

- Prepare and distribute billings to clients
- Review of the general ledger and balance sheet, and resolve reconciliation issues
- Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity
- Assist with review and reconciliation of credit card and cash transactions
- Assist in the preparation of various State and Local sales tax returns
- Handle special projects as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, or a relevant degree
- This is a full-time, in-office position (non-negotiable).
- Travel up to 15% required. Most travel is within a two-hour radius of the home office, with occasional finance and division meetings outside of this area
- A minimum of two years of corporate accounting experience
- Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or manufacturing preferred
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of associates, from hourly team members to Division Presidents and Controllers.
- Ability to quickly learn new programs, technologies, and tasks, as well as train associates on new processes.
- Strong background in managing internal controls and implementing new processes.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, and Sigma.
