This position within the Accounting/Finance Department will report to the Group Controller.Key Duties and Responsibilities.
Supervise tax accounting staff and various tax research projects
Manage / coordinate tax return deadlines
Prepare and review workpapers for outside tax consultants
Review and file sales tax returns for multiple states
Review and file tangible tax returns for multiple states
Maintain current state registrations, including filing the annual reports and business licenses
Register in other states, as needed
Review various informational returns
Research various tax matters
Respond to various tax notices
Analyze complex tax matters, as necessary
Work with fixed asset team to ensure proper tax depreciation is maintained
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience.
Accounting degree, CPA preferred
5-7 years of tax experience CIT, SALT and TPPT; payroll taxes a plus
2-3 years of supervisory experience

Work Environment. The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that a Tax Manager encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Work generally is performed in an office environment, although periodic visits to construction sites and manufacturing facilities may be required.
