Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret or higher
Travel: Up to 10%LaunchTech is seeking a Hardware Asset Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role focuses on maintaining accountability, control, and lifecycle management of IT hardware assets to ensure mission readiness and compliance.What You’ll DoAs a Hardware Asset Manager, you will:Provide proactive support to MDA customers as a member of the MIT Asset Management Functional TeamMaintain positive control of assets by actively tracking and managing physical location for both deployed and storage inventoriesAnalyze issues, identify solutions, and support the property team in maintaining accurate inventory portfoliosFacilitate procurement and track progress via dedicated artifactsCommunicate with vendors and resellers to collect estimates, confirm procurement details, and support acquisition activitiesTrack and receive assets into facility or warehouse storageUpdate databases and records to ensure asset accuracyResearch inventory discrepancies to prevent future problemsComplete recurring monthly inventory scan audits and contribute as an active, collaborative team memberAnticipate hardware disposition needs, including sanitization, excessing, or destruction of drives and media as requiredUphold asset management policies and proceduresExecute asset management functions across multiple locations by coordinating access and support requirementsMaintain and restock equipment storage locations, issuing equipment to technical staff following established processesWhat You BringBasic Requirements:Must have 2 years of experience in Asset ManagementMust be able to lift 40 lbs.Must be familiar with IT hardware.Must have an active DoD Secret or higher Security ClearanceDesired Requirements:Have an understanding and basic knowledge of all IT equipment.Have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAdditional Qualities for Success:Ability to actively and efficiently communicate with teams and customersStrong collaboration skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentOwnership of responsibilities with adaptability for changing prioritiesCommitment to maintaining team cohesion and connectionSelf-motivation with flexibility and adaptabilityWhy LaunchTech?At LaunchTech, we don’t just fill seats, we bring in people who want to make an impact.
