This role will be supporting Integrated Card Services (ICS) within the Payments Organization. ICS supports payment business lines to meet and exceed the increasing business demand in Credit Card Processing.What you will do:
As a Group Program Manager, you will align stakeholder priorities within a program roadmap and collaborate across the program to ensure project backlog work is accounted for by multiple engineering teams. Your primary focus will be related to PCI and Auditing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a technical mindset and have experience in managing programs of work and collaborating with key stakeholders on the program and working with cross-functional teams. Key skills include the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and business and understand both the technical aspects of a product and the strategic goals of the organization. The individual should be goal-oriented, have a proactive approach to work, excellent cooperation and team-working skills and a willingness to constantly learn.Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking a skilled Program/Project Manager with exceptional IT project management process and methodologies experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Responsible for the overall work efforts of a program or project team, ensuring proper controls are in place and processes are followed. Provides oversight to meet established function, quality, cost. Manages projects from initial concept through post implementation per methodology and via approved project tools. Builds bridges and relationships with key project stakeholders while serving as a liaison. Able to address issues via direct one-on-one dialog with project resources. Develops relationships with leadership of key project resources. Authors project management artifacts. Works with resource managers to obtain resources. Ensures project governance is established and observed. Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes project plan activities. Authors effective, clear, concise, and relevant communication for program/project stakeholders. Determines knowledge and skill sets required to ensure successful project outcome. Promotes collaborative relationships across project team members.
