- Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support labels with revenue recognition and film cost amortization processes.
- Coordinate monthly close activities in collaboration with shared services and label finance teams.
- Own the preparation and refinement of the monthly reporting package for both Film&TV and Soundtracks, providing in-depth analysis of budget-to-actual variances and tracking critical KPIs to support business performance monitoring.
- Drive core FP&A activities, including annual budgeting, monthly performance reporting, and quarterly reforecasting cycles.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for executive leadership meetings.
- Partner cross-functionally with label finance teams to ensure forecasting accuracy and data integrity between planned and actual results
- Collaborate with the sales organization to develop and maintain advanced dashboards analyzing digital sales performance across key platforms.
- Provide actional insights to senior leadership to drive strategic decisions around content investment and release strategies.
- Support management team and department heads with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
- Partner with Legal and Sales teams to assess contractual terms and ensure billing readiness license agreements, aligning invoicing timelines with deal execution and compliance requirements.
- Analyze and reconcile revenue data from incoming statements provided by sales agents and sub-distributor partners, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition
- Collaborate with the Order-to-Cash (OTC) team to manage the accounts receivable ledger, proactively identifying and resolving outstanding payment issues to optimize cash flow.
- Work with Royalty and Joint Venture Accounting teams to prepare participations and residuals reporting.
- Assist in maintaining accurate participations and residuals liabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Big 4 or CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally with experience in the entertainment or media industry.
- Requires strong Excel skills, experience with SAP/BW a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or entrepreneurial environment preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
