- SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)
- Lead and facilitate the monthly SIOP/S&OP process to align demand, supply, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to build consensus demand forecasts.
- Use statistical models and planning tools to develop production and supply plans.
- Monitor forecasts, purchase orders, and inventory levels using demand planning systems.
- Analyze sales and order data to optimize forecasts and determine effective replenishment methods.
- Balance inventory investments with service levels, working capital targets, and production constraints.
- Drive cross-functional alignment through clear communication and data-driven insights.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels across all locations to ensure product availability and minimize excess/obsolete stock.
- Monitor key inventory metrics (turnover, days on hand, fill rate) and drive continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices in inventory planning, safety stock management, and demand variability analysis.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely inventory movements.
- Develop long-range (6 – 12 month) inventory models based on activity, seasonal, and historical trends.
- Purchasing & Procurement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, Quality, Production, Corporate Procurement) to align purchases with company objectives.
- Oversee BU/site purchases of raw materials to support the production plan, ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and high quality, aligned with sourcing guidelines from Corporate Procurement.
- Collaborate with production, planning, engineering, and quality teams to understand material needs and specifications.
- Supports ICP safety guidelines and takes personal responsibility for the safety of all our employees.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Hands-on experience with purchasing, planning and inventory management software
- ERP Systems knowledge and experience; Greater than 5 years is a plus. SYSPRO is a plus
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in most PC applications
- Working knowledge of forecasting systems and processes
