- Build and deliver asynchronous and synchronous learning products (e.g., eLearning modules, webinars, podcasts, microlearning) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Translate strategic design decisions into accessible, engaging content using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), HTML5, Adobe Creative Suite, and other multimedia tools.
- Design Academy resources with cross-functional teams using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Captivate, Premiere) and graphic/infographic skills (e.g., fact sheets, infographics).
- Write and edit scripts, products, resources and presentation slide decks.
- Format and convert multimedia materials to meet system compatibility and accessibility requirements.
- Apply adult learning principles to inform layout and media selection based on an established curriculum and design that reflect the nature of the content and audience.
- Maintain and update existing courses and materials.
- Schedule and conduct recording sessions with subject matter experts (SMEs), consultants, and POCs to arrange for recording of audio and video course materials.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and staff to record narration / voice over for e-learning lessons.
- Coordinate pilot testing of new Academy coursework and implement changes, updates, and/or improvements to course materials based on testing.
- Collaborate with the Training and Operations Manager to translate high-level learning strategy, needs analysis, and design specifications into actionable development steps.
- Provide input in meetings with stakeholders (i.e., faculty, program staff) to clarify and develop learning objectives, instructional modalities, and content flow.
- Assist in the development of learning assessments and evaluation tools to ensure learning outcomes are measurable and aligned with program objectives.
- Analyze course performance data and learner feedback to improve instructional effectiveness by implementing changes to learning content.
- Translate emerging digital learning practices into instructional media, graphics, and materials that reflect current trends.
- Contributes to the design and organization of content and structure of the LMS and other learning platforms.
- Coordinate with Academy cross-functional teams (including Product Development and IT) to support Academy deliverables, presentation materials, and data management.
- Participate in relevant National Center for Child Traumatic Stress meetings to support Academy efforts and apply lessons learned.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design, digital media, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in communications, multimedia production, or related areas.
- Proficient in using portable and desktop computers.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing, with demonstrated ability to use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Storyline, etc.).
- Working knowledge of HTML5 and digital publishing tools.
- Strong writing and copyediting skills, with the ability to proofread and refine content for clarity and consistency.
- Experience managing projects and timelines, with competency in spreadsheet tools and other project management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive work style.
