This position requires computer proficiency, and our ideal candidate has prior experience with trucking and industrial workplace safety.Scale Operator Responsibilities:
Operating primary (large) and secondary (small) scales.
Creating and closing tickets on secondary, small scale.
Scheduling pallet trailer swaps, metal, and Waste Management open top swaps.
Processing freight invoices.
Managing all inbound traffic from Gray's Ferry, including monitoring tons.
Corresponding with suppliers when necessary.
Maintaining a safe, organized working environment.
Scale Operator Experience:
1 year of prior scale operation experience preferred.
Computer proficiency.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in trucking or in an industrial yard environment.
