We are passionate about delivering exceptional results and creating a better tomorrow.Lockheed Martin seeks a highly motivated Requirements and Verification Systems Engineer Sr. to join the Global Security team in Denver, Colorado.The Global Security Requirements and Verification Systems Engineer Sr. plays a vital role as they work with the customer to define key Space and Ground Enterprise level interfaces by collaboratively creating Requirements, Verification plans, Interface Control Documents, and Test Requirements using Cameo.
This will involve regular meetings/working groups with internal teams and with the customer and potentially other contractors.
The Systems Engineering Sr. in this role will need to have a System of Systems perspective and Systems Thinking approach.
In this role you will:
  • Develop/analyze/verify system level requirements and document & manage accordingly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, customers and other contractors to execute verification analyses and tests.
  • Organize/coordinate domain expert objective evidence creation and documentation.
  • Organize/coordinate system level technical reviews.
  • Mentor the team and provide guidance to early career staff.
  • Operate using Systems Engineering processes and functions, tailored to a go-fast program.
  • Work collaboratively in the office each day.
Selected candidates will typically have a Bachelors degree, or higher, in Engineering or other technical discipline with 5+ years of related professional work experienceBasic Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree (BS) in Engineering or other technical discipline, or significant evidence of related experience and equivalent understanding of STEM disciplines
  • Systems Engineering or Hardware Engineering experience within one or more of the following areas:
- Requirements
- Verification
- CONOPS
- Test
  • Knowledge and understanding of systems engineering processes
  • Active or Current Top Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI
Desired skills
  • Experience with MBSE and Requirements in DOORS and Cameo
  • Experiencing deriving and decomposing system performance requirements and budgets
  • Experience with a new program start-up or with Class C programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Prior experience with major milestone reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR)
  • Prior experience with satellite and ground systems design, development, integration, test
  • Prior experience with systems architecture design of spacecraft, payload, and ground systems
  • Self-starter, able to complete work with general direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
  • Active or Current TS/SCI security clearance
