Our comprehensive system has many locations and practice options to choose from throughout the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland.Job DescriptionUM Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide full time inpatient coverage in Easton, MD.The ideal candidate will be providing mental and behavioral health consultations to our adult inpatient populations. Out 12-bed unit is a comprehensive program that serves patients with psychiatric and addiction disorders and is designed to offer collaborative, compassionate, community-based care.
  • Adult inpatient consultations and Psychiatric unit coverage
  • Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
  • Weekends Friday 5pm- Monday 8am to include unit rounding and consults
  • Comprehensive Psychiatric evaluations

Qualifications
  • Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Behavioral and Mental health
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner must be acquired before start date.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
  • Experience preferred, not required.
  • DEA and CDS eligible.
