Starting Pay: $45.00/hour (+ $110 weekly per diem for non-local candidates)Your Role: Precision, Performance, ProgressAs an Assembly Mechanic supporting 737 fuselage production, you'll play a critical role in assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and testing structural and system components. Your expertise will directly impact product quality, safety, and overall aircraft performance.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAssemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect structural and system components per engineering specsInterpret and work from blueprints, process specifications, and verbal/electronic instructionsUse shop math and precision measuring/test instrumentsPerform functional testing and adjustments for fit, form, and functionOperate and maintain assembly tooling and equipmentIdentify and report discrepanciesPerform basic machine maintenance (lubrication, filter changes, etc.)Move products within work areas using shop equipmentSupport continuous workflow and assist/train fellow employeesCross-train in inspection and become SIA qualifiedParticipate in total preventative maintenance and safety compliance proceduresQualificationsRequired:Must be able to work either shiftMust be blueprint-proficientMust have 5+ years of aerospace sheet metal experience737 rework and/or structures background preferredMust pass Plate TestAdditional Benefits:Paid flights or mileage reimbursement for travel to training in Wichita, KSHotel reimbursement during Wichita training period$110 weekly per diem for candidates residing over 100 miles from work locationWhy Join PDS Tech Commercial?At PDS Tech Commercial, we believe in building more than just aircraft - we build careers.
