Responsibilities:
  • Maintain quality control systems.
  • Identify required specifications per customer print, determining an appropriate level of variation and monitoring quality assurance rates.
  • Design automated testing systems and quality control workflows to improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process.
  • Collect data about instances of product errors and investigation of possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process.
  • Document initial quality standards and the actual quality of products during production.
  • Find defects, help determine the causes of those defects, and assist to create resolutions.
  • Teach production staff how to use effective quality controls and supervise outcomes.
  • Work closely with design and production teams to solve problems.
  • Respond to questions about how to achieve quality goals and implement changes to reduce the instance of human or machine errors.
Duties:
  • Determining quality improvement factors.
  • Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of the manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment.
  • Making sure processes adhere to quality standards.
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Programming computerized measuring equipment, such as CMM, Keyence, and GMM.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, measuring tools, gages, and quality manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong Math Skills.
  • Knowledge of metals machining.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stress.
  • Capable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to switch between tasks easily.
Educational Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Four (4) or more years of quality engineering experience.
