- Develop and manage a portfolio of 5-10 accounts annually, fostering repeat business and establishing long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with the Owner/Leadership team to devise strategies for recurring revenue and volume-based growth.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in shipping, logistics, and project management roles within target industries.
- Achieve target revenue goals representing 5% of yearly sales ($2.5-5 million).
- Utilize various pay structures, including W2, Salary/Draw/Commission, with a focus on commissioned sales.
- Produce documentation, including non-compete agreements and client servicing history reports.
- Identify new business opportunities in oversized load transportation for industrial machinery across various sectors, such as wind energy, construction, and manufacturing.
- Confidently market and demonstrate expertise in providing transportation solutions for a wide range of industrial equipment, including mining machinery, generators, CNC machines, and more.
- Offer exceptional customer service and ensure timely and safe delivery of equipment, minimizing disruption to client operations.
- Proven experience in heavy hauling equipment sales, preferably in industries such as mining, construction, or manufacturing.
- Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships, with a focus on repeat business and revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and transportation regulations.
- Experience in providing business development/sales functions for industrial machinery transportation is preferred.
