- Supports integrated planning to create financial plans and forecasts that align with organizational objectives
- Drives efficiency and consistency in the planning process
- Prepare forecasts and reports on financial outlook and key metrics, identifying business drivers and actionable recommendations for management
- Ensures alignment of cross-functional initiatives for consistent forecasts and budgets to support organizational goals
- Maintains strong relationships across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain for timely input on forecasting
- Engages in special projects, including M&A activities and evaluation of options
- Develop financial models and analyses to support financial forecasting as well as strategic initiatives
- Interpret requirements and translate them into data requirements (Interfaces, data transformation, etc.) for complex projects and financial modeling, including driver-based planning and forecasting
- Creates “what if” scenario models that support a deep understanding of how business decisions will impact the financial plan.
- Provides financial modeling to drive an understanding of the short and long-term financial (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) implications for significant business decisions and/or investments.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for retrieving and using FP&A data and systems.
- Creates and maintains documentation for all FP&A processes and activities.
- Drives automation whenever possible
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
- Creates meaningful variance analysis comparing financial results with all relevant comparison points. This includes analysis of revenue, gross margins, operating expenses, cash flows, working capital, fixed assets, etc.
- Monitor the financial progress against leadership team strategic goals, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions, advice and escalation as necessary to ensure goals are achieved
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or an analyst role
