Job Category: MaintenanceJob Description:The Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is looking for a Plant Maintenance Millwright. The Maintenance Millwright will travel to various Levy sites (OH, MI, KY, MS, IN, TN, AR) to install and repair machinery and plant equipment.Pay: $40-$50 HourlyBenefits
Use machinery to regulate flow, quality, and size of materials to and from conveyors, crushers, and screens
Inspect and dismantle machines and equipment to locate the causes of malfunctions and to correct the problem
Keep the work area clean and tidy
Maintain reports and record keeping
Repair and replace defective parts
Weld and fabricate various equipment and parts
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and plant
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
SkillsThe ideal candidate will have:
Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude including welding and basic electrical skills
Ability to read blue prints
Knowledge of crushing, screening, belts and conveyors
Knowledge of materials and specification requirements
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb or crawl under or on top of or under equipment
Ability to manipulate components in hard to reach places with hands or tools
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings
