
Manager, Program Cost Controls

- Lead and manage a team of financial analysts by providing support, mentorship and training
- Quarterly development of Estimate at Completion (EACs)
- Interfacing with Program Management Office and the Integrated Product Leadership Team and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Support monthly pre-close and month end close activities including risk and opportunity management
- Support the development of product group level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) objectives
- Meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities
- Use strong analytical abilities to understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions
- Prepare finance charts for Program Business Reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required
- Participation in key leadership strategy reviews
- Support proposal development, submittal, negotiations and program start up activities
- Management of earned value, analysis of program performance ensuring compliance with internal EVM policy and 10255
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience with data analysis and/or reporting
- Experience with Estimates at Complete (EACs), Program Controls, and/or EVMS (Earned Value Management)
- Experience with Financial Planning and Analysis
- Experience with proposals
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form
- Experience interfacing with senior level management and customers, including formal presentations
- Ability to think on their feet, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, and manage competing priorities
- Ability to identify issues and implement corrective action plans that produce positive results
- Ability to partner with various functional teams and work in collaboration on the successful execution of gate reviews, contract modification negotiations, financial reporting, and EAC’s.
