Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.We are looking for a Planner with experience in a production environment to support our Orion Integrated Test Lab (ITL) at Waterton campus, as well as other labs in Houston, TX. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, NASA's first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth.The ITL houses a full-size Orion Crew Module structure that accommodates flight and flight-like avionics boxes along with hardware and systems simulators.As our Manufacturing Planner, you will:

Support the ERP demands created and managed in SAP,

Provide status of the parts in the supply chain process,

Support closure of production orders and Q-notes,

Execute shipping and logistics of test racks or equipment between these labs and the Kennedy Space Center, disposition forms,

Process government-furnished materials

Communicate daily with local test engineers and operators

Your work will require strict attention to detail, the ability to work well as part of a team, and also independently.Our level 2 employees typically have 2-5 years of experience.#LockheedMartinSpacePMEBasic Qualifications

Experience in SAP or ERP

Experience in a Production Environment

Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Desired skills

Works well independently and as part of a team

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
