The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students who are English language learners (ELLs) and will work to create an inclusive and engaging environment that fosters language development, academic success, and cultural understanding. As an ENL Teacher, you will provide tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of ELL students, helping them to succeed both linguistically and academically. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Education TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), or a related field (required).SCHOOL-WIDE COMPETENCIES:

- Provide direct instruction in English language development, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Design and implement lesson plans that support students' language acquisition and integrate subject-area content.
- Differentiate instruction based on students' language proficiency levels, academic needs, and learning styles.
- Monitor and assess students' progress in acquiring English and achieving academic goals, providing regular feedback.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the integration of ENL students into mainstream classrooms.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Language Proficiency Plans (LPPs) as needed.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to support language development.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel respected, valued, and encouraged to take risks in language learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on students' progress and provide strategies to support language development at home.
- Stay current with best practices in language acquisition, ENL teaching strategies, and cultural competencies.
