Delivering high-quality IT, cybersecurity, and data analytics solutions through proven and innovative methods is our vision.Job DescriptionDobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to provide the Magnetic Silencing Facility (MSF) program general Information Technology (IT) lifecycle support for hardware/software systems at MSF sites. The IT Systems Administrator will also maintain configuration management of software, as well as support maintaining the system master disks/files to facilitate on site troubleshooting and hardware/software systems restoration of the MSF site computer network systems.DutiesBasic duties to include:
Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure
Monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize system efficiency
Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures
Apply security patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user support issues
Manage software installation, upgrades, and license compliance
Track and maintain IT asset inventory, conduct audits, and oversee asset disposal
Maintain system documentation, record changes, and prepare monthly reports for the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA)
Qualifications Required education and experience:
BS/BA with 10+ years’ relevant experience, or
MS/MA with 7+ years’ relevant experience
