- Participate in roadmap planning and setting product vision
- Support and participate in problem solving and solutioning at a global scale or for specific countries or regions
- Lead backlog refinement, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories and acceptance criterias in partnership with our technology and product design teams
- Collaborate with Cardinal teams to translate business requirements into technical functional requirements and be able to articulate those to the engineering team
- Work with the team to support new innovative features and products offerings
- Partner with the product delivery and commercialization teams to create support and training materials for internal and external users
- Participate in mitigating impediments to successful team completion of release and sprint goals
- Keep relevant in agile best practices and trends
- Communicate clearly and regularly on timelines, product features, and enhancements to cross-functional groups
- Serve as a subject matter expert to internal teams and key clients
- Possess a unique blend of business and technically savvy
- Successfully handle multiple priorities against tight deadlines
- Analyzing the market to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market
- Proficient in running cross-functional meetings to clarify, define, and track client and market opportunities
- Strong communicator capable of developing clear and concise messaging from complex or technical ideas
- Demonstrates an understanding of core business drivers that influence the operational and financial results of a program or commercial release
- Strategic, well-organized individual that pays attention to details
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline.
- In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will be considered.
- 5+ years’ experience in technology as a developer or technical product manager
- Strong knowledge of agile and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma.
- Passionate about product quality with an understanding of effective, user-friendly, and resilient API design.
- Significant expertise in API design – you should understand what contributes to an exceptional developer experience and be an advocate for good API design choices, including the naming of individual parameters.
- Ability to delve into data, think from fundamental principles, and produce the desired outcomes.
- Reputation for being a collaborative thought partner and business leader, with ability to organize and motivate work across multiple team boundaries
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a knack for accurately expressing user issues.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and effectively communicate and present
- Exhibits a sense of responsibility and is willing to tackle any problem to satisfy customers
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Payments industry knowledge
- Proven track record of planning and rolling out large-scale product launches
- Familiarity with SQL, coupled with first-hand experience in developing against APIs.
