- Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across cloud and bare metal environments (K8s/K3s)
- Support cluster lifecycle management, including upgrades, scaling, and routine maintenance activities
- Deploy and manage applications across multiple Kubernetes clusters with a focus on consistency and reliability
- Implement and maintain security policies across the cluster fleet
- Troubleshoot cluster-level issues and support application deployment problems
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows for automated deployments and infrastructure provisioning
- Work with GitOps tools like ArgoCD, Flux, or similar platforms to manage deployments and configurations
- Develop automation scripts and processes to streamline operational workflows
- Support lifecycle management across the fleet using declarative configuration management
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices and configuration consistency
- Set up and maintain centralized monitoring and logging systems for cluster health and performance visibility
- Configure and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch, or similar platforms
- Implement fleet health monitoring and alerting systems
- Create dashboards and reports for operational visibility and performance tracking
- Support incident response and troubleshooting using monitoring and logging data
- Develop and maintain operational tools that enable developers and operators to use the platform effectively
- Contribute to building user-friendly interfaces and experiences for platform management
- Support platform users with deployment issues, troubleshooting, and best practices guidance
- Create documentation and runbooks for operational procedures and platform usage
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment patterns
- Work with cloud platforms and services including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Support bare metal deployments and hybrid cloud environments
- Implement infrastructure provisioning and configuration management practices
- Maintain OpenStack or other private cloud platform components as needed
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards across the infrastructure
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5 - 10 years’ related work experience
- Ability to travel to domestic or international locations as required, up to 5% of the time
- Strong Kubernetes experience including cluster administration, troubleshooting, and application deployment
- Container technologies proficiency with Docker and containerization best practices
- Multi-cluster management understanding and experience with distributed Kubernetes environments
- Kubernetes networking concepts including CNI, ingress controllers, and service mesh basics
- Security policy implementation for containers and Kubernetes environments
- GitOps & Automation Technologies
- GitOps tools experience with ArgoCD, Flux, or similar declarative deployment platforms
- Infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm for configuration management
- CI/CD integration experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms
- Version control proficiency with Git and understanding of GitOps workflow patterns
- Scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages for operational tasks
- Monitoring system experience with Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch, or similar tools
- Centralized logging setup and management using ELK stack, Fluentd, or similar solutions
- Alerting and notification system configuration and management
- Performance monitoring and capacity planning for Kubernetes workloads
- Dashboarding and reporting for operational visibility and fleet health tracking
- Cloud platform knowledge with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services
- Hybrid cloud understanding including integration between cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Networking fundamentals including VPCs, load balancers, and network security
- Storage management including persistent volumes, storage classes, and backup strategies
- Database operations in Kubernetes environments, including Stateful Sets and operators
- Backup and disaster recovery strategies for containerized applications and data
- Performance tuning and resource optimization for Kubernetes workloads
- Cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure and resource management
- Compliance frameworks and security scanning for containers and infrastructure
- Programming experience in Go, Python, or similar languages for automation and tooling
- API development understanding for integration with platform services
- Custom operator development for Kubernetes resource management
