Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Transports - PRNReports to: Operations Manager, Transports Team Lead

Compensation:
  • $14.50/hr plus built in OT on 72 hour shifts
Job Summary:Perform duties associated with basic medical and first aid services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and EMS Unlimited policies in the setting of ambulance and transport operations.Additional opportunities within EMS Unlimited may be made available or required throughout the year based on operational needs, including responding to wildfire assignments while on a Transport shift.Schedule:PRN (Casual): Minimum 144 hours per quarter, Available 48 hours per month (24, 48, 72 hour shifts)Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and encouraging EMS Unlimited values in yourself and your coworkers;
  • Responding to emergency and non-emergency requests calmly, efficiently and promptly;
  • Administering basic life support to patients at the scene, in a prehospital/pre-transport setting in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations and standards;
  • Conducting medical equipment inventory.
  • Cleaning, organizing and restocking supplies in a ready condition after each use;
  • Working cooperatively with assisting agencies. Be nice, professional, courteous and an all around happy and pleasant person.
QualificationsMust possess: Valid CPR, Colorado EMT Certification, and valid drivers license (must be 21 years old).Must be 21 years of age or older to drive our ambulance.Must have a passion for:
