- Develop and execute test plans for diagnostic and ECU flash programming applications.
- Validate software for vehicle communication systems and TECH 2 core releases.
- Document issues and resolutions using MS TFS/Azure DevOps.
- Perform electrical/mechanical testing and light vehicle disassembly as needed.
- Design and automate test systems using LabVIEW and other tools.
- Analyze test data, report findings, and recommend design revisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and attend development meetings.
- Maintain safety, housekeeping, and lab standards.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or in teams.
- Familiarity with automotive systems and diagnostic tools (e.g., TECH 2, VLT, CAT).
- Understanding of serial data protocols (CAN, GMLAN, UART, etc.).
- Experience in LabVIEW programming and reading electrical schematics.
- 3+ years in automotive electrical/mechanical testing preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or bachelor's degree equivalent training preferred.
- ASE certification preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience for entry-level roles.
