- Lead by example in demonstrating and reinforcing positive customer service behaviors
- Respond to customer service complaints, resolving problems, and turning negative situations into positive ones
- Assist in scheduling staff breaks and tasks to maintain high Tim Hortons standards throughout the day
- Be flexible on the floor to troubleshoot and address any issues as needed
- Pre-screen and interview employees to fill various openings
- Support the restaurant's training program and ensure employees have the necessary tools and support
- Supervise the performance of hourly employees during shift, ensuring alignment with company policies and taking
- corrective action when necessary
- Stay updated on health and safety regulations and employment legislation
- Provide ongoing performance feedback to management about any issues with operations.
- Ensure proper merchandising of products
- Promote the principles of REV standards
- Evaluate and focus on areas requiring greater performance from employees
- Operational Analysis:
- Maintain a productive and safe work environment, following all company operating, food safety, security, health and
- safety, and employment standards
- Monitor food flow and equipment maintenance to serve safe food to customers
- Stay informed of new information through available resources
- Monitor and promptly respond to company email messages
- Adhere to all operational standards and guidelines for product preparation.
- Prepare all products accurately by following the order monitor.
- Communicate showcase and product needs to ensure availability for customers.
- Regularly monitor and record temperatures of required products.
- Keep the front counter and drive-thru area clean, organized, stocked, and ready for rush periods.
- Follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and standards.
- Practice proper hand washing techniques and adhere to sanitation guidelines.
- Complete all sanitation tasks as outlined.
- Work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.
- Follow safe work practices and procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment.
- Report any injuries, accidents, unsafe conditions, or contraventions of health and safety regulations promptly to
- the Restaurant Manager or Human Resources.
- Operate equipment and machinery safely to ensure the well-being of everyone.
- High school diploma or GED (must be at least 18 years of age)
- Minimum of 3 months previous food service management experience
- ServSafe Manager Certified
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent knowledge of Tim Hortons products and procedures
- Action and results-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills, including motivating, delegation, conflict management, respect for others, and active
- listening
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, composure)
- Frequent reaching and manual dexterity.
- Continuous standing on tiled surfaces.
- Use of headset for order processing at the drive-thru.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Frequent walking and occasional lifting of supplies/products.
- Exposure to cold and high heat temperatures.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Working with multiple employees, serving & preparing a variety of food and beverages for customers, and interacting directly with customers and other employees is an essential function of this job.
