Position Summary...What you'll do...As a Manager, Advanced Analytics, you'll be part of leading a collaborative team that's dedicated to empowering transportation, E2E supply chain operators and leadership with actionable insights, reporting, and automation. You'll utilize advanced analytical techniques to improve efficiency, optimize operations, and drive strategic decision-making within our transportation department. The Manager, Advanced Analytics will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and develop innovative solutions to enhance our transportation network. We're looking for someone with strong initiative and strong critical thinking mixed with experience in SQL, Python, Dataiku, Tableau, Google Big Query on cloud service and local server environments. The products managed and built by this role and teams have a high degree of visibility with stakeholder consumers in the thousands or possess positions of significance.   • You have strong exploratory data analysis skills and ability to make analytical, data driven recommendations and solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, GCP, Tableau, Dataiku, Python.

  • Advanced Analytics: In-depth investigation of key drivers of transportation dynamic optimization and data quality. Work with large, disparate datasets to measure business KPIs and to conduct strategic analyses to inform critical business decisions. Develop data visualization to monitor and quantify the impact of changes and unique business challenges and use data to influence strategic decision making.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Engaging with team members and cross-functional partners on a consistent basis and establish credibility and influence change. Drive process optimization and collaboration across the organization. Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to share relevant information.
  • Planning: Thinking strategically to identify the key metrics and initiatives needed to drive change within the organization. Quickly translate strategic, conceptual ideas into clear action plans, roadmaps, and timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze and improve processes by leveraging lean, six sigma, and zero-loss principles. Identify opportunities to positively impact cost and growth plans, and influence incorporation into long-range plans.
Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, operations research, or engineering. Master's or Ph.D. degree preferred.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or related roles, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.3. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to frame complex business problems and develop analytical solutions.4. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.5. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques.6. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.7. Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying updated on the latest advancements in analytics and transportation industry trends.8. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience working with big data platforms and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).9. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of analysts or data scientists.10.
