McKenney Home Care is a private duty agency that serves our Clients needs in Sarasota and Charlotte County. We are committed to valuing our TEAM and offer around-the-clock office and nursing support. We recognize that many employees require flexible positions that accommodate their current schedules, and we have opportunities to help make that possible!Duties:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and run errands for clients
  • Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
Job Requirements:
- Ability to properly lift and move objects or individuals safely- we do not permit "deadlifts"
- Ability to follow the prescribed Care Plan
- Strong attention to detail and ability to properly document shift tasks
- Have a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance and Transportation
- Current or willingness to complete Hands-On CPR Certification-we offer a $60 course through our office and give you the cert
- Current or willingness to complete Level 2 Background Screening
- Current (within the last 6 months) or willingness to complete TB Test
