Manufacturing Engineer

• Designs tools and machines used to manufacture products.

• Prepares operations manuals for new or existing equipment.

• Installs new equipment and ensures that it operates correctly; trains others to operate new machinery.

• Maintains knowledge of new and developing manufacturing technology, equipment, and applications; applies this knowledge to recommend and implement new technology and processes.

• Conducts or assists with performance and failure analysis of defective products or materials; identifies, recommends, or executes corrective actions.

• Collaborates with clients, customers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve problems with delivered products.

• Drafts and recommends procedures to establish or improve quality standards, standard repairs, process controls, and inspection methods.

• Develops and implements strategies to increase quality and customization of products.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Applies advanced tooling design techniques, including material selection and coatings.

• Develops and implements advanced process control strategies to optimize production output.

• Implements predictive maintenance strategies using data analytics.

• Trains applicable team members on advanced process optimization techniques and tools.

• Identifies and mitigates project risks, proactively communicating updates to stakeholders.

• Manages project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.

• Submits project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

• Prioritizes projects relative to greater company initiatives.

• Designs and conducts controlled experiments or tests to validate hypotheses and verify proposed solutions.

• Leads cross-functional teams in troubleshooting complex problems, leveraging diverse expertise and perspectives.

• Develops and implements continuous improvement initiatives to drive incremental wins in quality, efficiency, and process.

• Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members, sharing best practices and lessons learned from previous troubleshooting experiences.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks or experience with 2D & 3D design software.

• Strong financial acumen, project management, and resource allocation skills.

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. In lieu of a 4‑year degree, 7 – 10 years of relevant experience may be considered.
