- Operate a forklift to transport materials and products to and from storage areas, production lines, or trucks.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
- Inspect forklifts and other equipment before use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain accurate records of materials and products moved, including quantity and location.
- Assist with inventory management by performing cycle counts and participating in physical inventory audits.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the entire shift.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift larger loads such as plywood or long boards
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Basic math skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and operate a forklift for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
