
Senior RAMP Technician

- Utilize predictive technologies to gather and analyze data of mining equipment from multi-site operations. Including accepting, annotating and taking action for active alarms.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations divisions to validate findings and provide recommendations to address issues.
- Identify opportunities to optimize asset monitoring workflows and implement best practices that improve detection accuracy and response time
- Contribute to building a centralized knowledge base corrective interventions (asset behaviors, failure modes, alarm responses, etc.)
- Mentor RAMP Technicians assigned to their shift/crew
- Perform other duties as requested
- Four (4) years of experience in mechanical or operations fields, or a combination of mechanical/operations experience
- Working knowledge and understanding of basic mechanical principles (hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid mechanical systems)
- Skilled in utilizing computer databases to research, maintain, and update records and files
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience with Equipment Maintenance Systems (Mining and Processing)
- Ability to create Maintenance Requests using current systems
- Hands-on maintenance experience with mining or other heavy equipment.
- Able to operate the Dispatch Database
- Radio Communication skills (can specify Dispatch Radio or 2-Way)

- Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
