- Present product/service offerings: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations.
- Generate and qualify leads: Conduct outbound cold calls and emails to prospective clients and follow up on inbound leads from various marketing activities.
- Manage the sales cycle: Nurture leads through the sales pipeline, handle customer questions and objections, and negotiate terms to close deals.
- Maintain client relationships: Build and foster long-term relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to drive repeat business.
- Collaborate and report: Work closely with other sales team members, marketing, and customer service to ensure a smooth sales process. Track all sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics in the CRM system.
- Stay informed: Keep up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop new skills to include using estimating software to develop Metal Roofing quotes.
- Qualifications and skills
- Proven experience in an inside sales or business development role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, consultative approach.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Goal-oriented: A self-motivated and results-driven attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and target-based environment.
