Planning and strategy of project development from the design effort through construction, obtaining Certificate of Occupancy and project closeoutAssist with oversight and coordination of design development from Schematic Design to Construction Administration PhasesAssist in the day-to-day management of development projects including the oversight of project contractors and consultantsAssist in negotiating and drafting contract terms and scope with design consultants and contractorsAssist Design Director to conduct regularly coordination meetings with the contractors and design consultantsResponsible for maintaining project schedule, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budgetManage project documents including discretionary and non-discretionary approvals, agency releases/declarations/determinations, easements, covenants, tract maps, construction documents, A/E design and engineering plans and specifications, contracts/change orders, closeout documentationReview drawings and attend weekly meetingsReview submittals and RFIs and changer ordersRequirementsA Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction management required; Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Real Estate or Engineering preferredA minimum of five (5) years of experience in building design, general construction, or project management requiredA minimum of three (3) years of residential design/construction experience in New York City required, construction administration or condominium experience is a plus.Skilled in review and analysis of construction documents during the design phase with the ability to extend knowledge to the construction of the project, monitoring adherence to construction documentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including persuasive writing and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks under tight deadlineAn advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud is requiredSelf-motivated and able to take responsibilitiesChinese reading and writing skill is a plusRegistered Architect, Professional Engineer, LEED certification and PMP are desirable
