- Telecommunications Engineering and Design:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex voice and data communication systems, including VoIP, UCaaS, and other related technologies, specifically supporting contact center operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to voice, video, and data communication services impacting contact center performance.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new telecommunications technologies and service providers, with a focus on contact center needs (e.g., ACD, IVR, CTI integration.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve performance, reliability, and security of voice and data communications for contact center
- Unified Communications Expertise:
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and other relevant technologies with a focus on contact center features (ACD, IVR, CTI integration).
- Strong understanding of unified communications platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone) and their contact center capabilities.
- Experience with advanced voice and data networking protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP, QoS) as they relate to contact center operations.
- Project Leadership and Execution:
- Lead and execute complex telecommunications projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments related to contact center infrastructure.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required level of quality, meeting contact center performance objectives.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for telecommunications systems, including physical and logical network diagrams, with a specific focus on contact center infrastructure.
- Publish technical documentation to explain the operation and function of voice, video, and data communication solutions, emphasizing their role in supporting contact center operations.
- Mentorship & Collaboration:
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to other Team
- Collaborate effectively with other teams within the organization, including IT, engineering, business units, and contact center
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP Collaboration, relevant UCaaS certifications) are highly desired.
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or a related field, with a strong emphasis on contact center technologies.
- Deep expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and other relevant technologies with a focus on contact center
- Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, and other voice communication protocols as they relate to contact center operations.
- Experience with unified communications platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone) and their contact center capabilities.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols as they relate to contact center infrastructure.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
