- Teaching theory, clinical and simulation/lab nursing courses.

- Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with healthcare agency professionals and other campus educators.
- Engaging in scholarship that contributes to the advancement of nursing as a profession.

- By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
- Demonstrating awareness, respect, and appreciation for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc. and works well with a variety of people.

- Master of Science in Nursing.
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of five years practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Excellent professional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining consistently high professional standards.
- The demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a growing, innovative team.
- The ability to work full-time, in-person.
- A commitment to working with a diverse population of students.
- A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
- Doctorate in Nursing or relevant field.
- CNE or CHSE.
- Experience as a nurse educator in classroom, simulation, and clinical teaching settings at a higher education institution.
- Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population of students.
- Appointment at the Assistant Professor level is anticipated, though candidates with significant teaching experience at previous institutions may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. Salary and benefits are competitive with comparable institutions.
- Primary Work Location: Newberg Campus
- This is a resident / in-person faculty position
- Work Period: 9 months (August 15th through May 14th)
- Working Conditions: Physical requirements are similar to those of teaching and clinical environments.
