Consumer Loan Servicing Representatives remove roadblocks and complete operational tasks that allow Commerce to meet the customer’s lending needs. Operational tasks performed by Consumer Loan Servicing Representatives include loan document preparation, loan processing, booking, and research. If you are a detail-oriented person with the ability to work quickly and accurately, this is the team for you!About This JobThe main purpose of this job is to provide support to a variety of specialty lending products.Essential FunctionsAssist with booking all direct non real-estate loans same day and ensure all loans are processed accuratelyAssist in manually booking all private banking loans and lines and ensure all loans are processed accuratelyIdentify loans that failed to book and manually book loans in the appropriate systemResponsible for the execution, verification of lien perfection for all direct and indirect loans as well as completenessMake necessary corrections to the loan system related to the collateral used for the loanAssist in processing daily macro’sEnsure compliance with department policies and regulations while accuracy and production goals are maintainedProvide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customersPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to learn or basic knowledge of the consumer loan servicing line of businessExcellent customer service skills and ability to research answers and solutionsAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentialityMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesBasic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookBasic level proficiency of loan servicing systems; for example, Shaw, Origenate, Temenos, etc.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent combination or education & experience required.
