Located in Laguna Hills for over 30 years, Dan Luna Exceptional Woodworking has an opening for an experienced custom cabinet CAD drafter detailer who is skilled in Cabinet Vision to join our team. The right candidate will also have a background in custom cabinetry and millwork for high-end residential homes.(This is NOT a remote position | Must have cabinet making experience)Responsibilities
- Use Cabinet Vision to build accurate, fully parametric cabinet assemblies
- Create production-ready data that requires no interpretation or guesswork
- Generate cut lists, nest layouts, CNC G-code, and shop drawings with clarity and precision
- Prepare machine-ready files with full awareness of material yield, tooling, and constraints
- Revise drawings as needed and flag design issues before they hit the floor
- Ensure files flow smoothly into CNC operations and materials are optimized
- Maintain organized design files that are clear, complete, and easy to run
- Work directly with installers or project managers to ensure field fit and finish
- 3 years CAD drafter detailer experience using cabinetry software, must include at least 2 years of Cabinet Vision
- CNC programming
- 3 years custom cabinetry and millwork fabrication
- Photo realistic 3D renderings- to aid in project presentations (preferred)
