Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,221 - $13,224 per month
Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,825 - $14,523 per month
Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $8,593 - $15,211 per monthAnticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. See the guide for more information.Priority Review Date: 5/1/25; complete applications received after that date may be considered as needs arise.Position Summary:The School of Education in the College of Communication and Education is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers and clinical practice supervisors with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.Lecturer Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred in Education/Teaching or a related field.
- Required teaching credential appropriate for the subject area to be taught
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time K-12 teaching experience or other relevant K-14 experience.
- Experience/certification working with English Learners
- Evidence of having maintained currency in the field
- Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance. Participation in the DMV Employer Pull Notice Program (driving record) is required. The candidate will be required to update their insurance when necessary.
- Experience teaching in a credential program.
- Bilingual candidates will be given preference.
- Required teaching credential appropriate for the subject area to be supervised or an administrative credential
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time K-12 teaching experience or other relevant K-14 experience.
- Experience/certification working with English Learners
