- Practice inventory management strategies to ensure accurate stock levels that meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory
- Oversee inventory control procedures and accurate recording of all inventory transactions
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Monitor KPIs and analytics related to inventory turnover, stock levels, and product performance
- Streamline operations to improve productivity and minimize costs
- Collaborate with production and warehouse staff to implement best practices in operational workflow
- Analyze operational data and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain optimal levels of raw materials and finished goods
- Hire, train, and develop staff within the operations, warehouse and inventory teams
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and quality among the operations staff
- 5+ years of experience in operations management or inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus)
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with experience in training and mentoring staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
