- Loading material / parts into machine and running program.
- Daily maintenance on machine (checking fluid levels, cleaning out chips, etc).
- In-process inspection of parts.
- Minor program changes, mainly tool offsets.
- Replacement of worn or damaged tools (inserts, boring bars, end mills, drills, etc).
- Sign-off of paperwork accompanying parts (MOT, Inspection Traveler)
- Proper handling of parts.
- Proper identification of parts / parts containers to maintain traceability to job number & split lot.
- Machine operation.
- Part holding methods.
- Machine maintenance requirements.
- Reading and understanding B/P’s including assemblies, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, notes, abbreviations, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, and any other standard nomenclature per customer, government, or industry standards.
- Use of basic inspection, measuring and test equipment to verify dimensions of product.
- Basic knowledge of CNC code.
- Installation and removal of perishable tooling.
- Company specific handling requirements.
- Company specific product identification requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
- Must be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand majority of the shift
