
Associate Supplier Relationship Manager

- MRP review and material planning for deliveries to plants including creation of purchase orders, confirmation tracking, and monitoring for timely arrival of materials.
- Perrigo and Supplier contact to facilitate the resolution of quality deviations, rejections, and advisories.
- Responsible for internal and external customer service level requirements, strategic inventory management, understanding supplier downtime, and communication of potential shortages.
- Supports invoice investigation & resolution, coordination of rejected materials, and contractual obligations.
- Participates in and supports process improvements, projects including new product development and alternate sources, and supply chain efficiencies.
- Evaluates existing and new materials for applicable changes and maintains master data systems.
- Provides leadership in routine life-cycle meetings with Procurement and Global Sourcing to discuss projects, Supplier service levels, receipt issues, and quality concerns.
- Generates and maintains monthly supplier scorecards and forecasts.
- Ensures compliance to Global Procurement policies and company procedures.
- Degree required, preferably in business, supply chain, materials management, or closely related field.
- 1- 3 years of Procurement experience in the Pharma, Food, or Medical Device industry preferred.
- Critical thinking skills, sound decision making skills, demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as on a team, and ability to meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment are essential to the position’s success.
- The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Good Distribution Practices and possess strong PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word); SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to represent Perrigo in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage interruptions, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously to successfully meet daily goals.
