The Nursing Practice and Professional Development Specialist (NPPDS) is an RN who influences the professional role competence and professional growth of nurses in a variety of settings. The NPPDS is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and activities for nursing staff using nursing, adult learning and other theories as appropriate.   • Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing; applicants without the required degree who are enrolled and matriculated in an MSN program may be considered.
  • Five (5) years of nursing experience; three years' Pre-op/PACU experience is required. Minimum of three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
  • Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse license is required at time of hire.
  • Active BLS CPR certification.
Salary Range: Minimum 46.57/hour - Maximum 72.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.JHM prioritizes the health and well-being of every employee.
