Wurzak Hotel Group (WHG) is currently seeking a Director of Talent and Culture for the following locations:Sheraton Hotel in Reston VAWe are seeking a goal-oriented leader that’s a champion of both employee experience and guest satisfaction. As a key member of the property leadership team, the Director will oversee the hotel's Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee experience, and HR operations/compliance.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work as a strategic partner with hotel management to plan out employee teams who add to the culture
  • Recruit team members that enhance our culture of service and thrive on creating great moments for guests
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local laws
  • Manage the employee hello-to-goodbye cycle
  • Lead employee experience programs: culture committee, employee development, and recognition
  • Handle benefits and open enrollment for assigned locations
  • Serve as a resource for employees to answer questions and support their success
  • Facilitate related training and development programs as needed
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree in a field relevant to Human Resources
  • 10+ years of experience in a progressive Human Resources role
  • Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent HR certification preferred
