BERNVILLE, PA, and surrounding towns in Berks County. Pay per case ranges from $23.00 to $45.00 Examiner set up their own availability schedule for mornings, afternoons, early evenings, and Saturday mornings for appointments.JOB DETAILS:
- The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, collecting urine, EKG, and medical history (if no EKG experience, we are willing to do a training)
- Must be willing to travel to the client's location for appointments (20-mile radius)
- Paid per appointment/service, this isn't an hourly or salary-paid position for a mobile examiner.
- Paid bimonthly, no taxes taken out, 1099 contractor position
- Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment. Bonuses of $10.00 - $25.00 for remote areas.
- Will supply an Apple iPad to a contractor who is willing to cover a larger area and has ample availability at no charge to the contractor. Will be bonused for cases outside her normal coverage area. Ipad exam cases are paid an extra $3.00 per exam.
- Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples mentioned above as required
- Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documentation of health histories
- Maintaining accurate client records, which includes detailing any medical issues experienced by clients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of the test results
- Must Pass a Urine Drug Screen & Background Check
- Proven Experienced Phlebotomist
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Excellent customer service & communication skills Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPPA/PHI law
- Detailed-oriented/sound organization skills
- Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and penmanship
- Reliable transportation
- Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner to print & scan uploaded completed documents.
- Must supply own BP cuffs (regular & large). A stethoscope, a scale that goes up to 400 lbs., a clipboard, a metal tape measure, and a cloth tape measure.
- Centrifuge and portable EKG machine will be provided to you with a $50.00 security deposit.
- ExamOne supplies you with kits shipping labels and extra needles as needed. We supply sharps containers and will dispose of filled containers that are dropped off at our Allentown office.
