- Build and maintain features in HubSpot workflows for SMS, call, and scheduling automation.
- Assist in configuring SalesMessage templates and Twilio numbers to support outreach campaigns.
- Support monitoring and reporting of phone number reputation to prevent SPAM/SCAM tagging.
- Debug and fix issues in message and call delivery under senior developer guidance.
- Document processes, workflows, and technical configurations for internal use.
- Participate in team code reviews and learn best practices for maintainable, scalable development.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure accurate orchestration of lead engagement.
- Technical Foundations: Basic programming skills (JavaScript/Node.js, Typescript preferred).
- Platform Familiarity: Introductory knowledge of HubSpot automation, SalesMessage, and Twilio APIs.
- APIs & Workflows: Understanding of REST APIs and simple integration patterns.
- Communication: Ability to work with non-technical teams (sales, marketing) to translate needs into workflows.
- Compliance Awareness: Willingness to learn about telecom compliance and carrier rules for SMS/voice reputation.

- Learn from senior engineers by pairing on outreach orchestration projects.
- Actively participate in code reviews and adopt feedback quickly.
- Progress toward independently owning small modules and features.
- Build a foundation for advancing to Software Developer II by demonstrating reliability, curiosity, and technical growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Some exposure to APIs, CRM workflows, and automation tools (1-2 years minimum).
- Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn telecom/engagement systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Twilio, HubSpot, or SalesMessage.
- 3+ years professional experience, with marketing-specific exposure a plus.
- Familiarity with call/SMS compliance concepts such as opt-outs, DNC, or spam mitigation.
