- Manage interface between Operations Program Management, Design Engineering, and Operations to assess risk and provide solutions.
- Perform Manufacturing Readiness Assessments using the DoD Manufacturing Readiness level (MRL) framework.
- Analyzes product/program maturity and assigns manufacturing readiness levels using the DoD MRL threads as a guideline.
- Create Manufacturing transition plans.
- Provide input into new production contract proposals for Operations
- Deliver professional written and verbal communication to both internal and external stakeholders including L3Harris customers
- Leads, plans and conducts technical projects typically related to manufacturability, product performance, yields, and process capability
- Develops technical specifications, interface control documents, manufacturing plans and procedures, analyzes configuration and processing solutions, and tests conformance to specifications
- Recommends new or improved design solutions and processes; reviews literature, patents and current industry practices of relevance to assigned project
- Follows processes in conformance with established policies and objectives
- Participates in critical design reviews
- Actively participate in Failure Review Board (FRB) investigations and subsequent Root Cause, Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
- Partners with other organizations to create and execute improved manufacturing plans which drive measurable improvements to the portion of the Company’s AOP that falls within this role’s span of control.

- A Bachelor’s degree & a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in ME, EE, IE, or equivalent. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with wireless communication or similar systems and related system architecture, hardware design, integration and qualification.
- Required experience in product development (preferably in military application environments)
- Experience with engineering architecture and design concepts along with thorough understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop, test and deploy systems.
