- Champion cloud best practices across the company.
- Enhance and extend current capabilities of the cloud solutions used at BC; competencies include but are not limited to Azure Cloud, Crayon hosting services, BC’s Network and Security Infrastructure, customer support, storage, security, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Lead and ensure execution of the Cloud Solutions team’s roadmap initiatives by both independently and collaboratively leading and completing assigned projects/tasks.
- Collaborate within Digital Services and BC business partners on the design and build of next-generation cloud infrastructure and solutions.
- Work with external business partners / vendor on audit compliance and solution roadmaps.
- Self-Invest, grow skills in the areas of cloud solutions, network and security infrastructure, security standards, internal communications, and business process optimization.
- Expertise in cloud-based resources, services, and solutions internally as well for Digital Solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the enterprise backup solutions and ability to restore all levels of data within the prescribed SLA.
- Act as a key contributor to teams that define, review, and approve requirements for the business needs, including advising the Executive Committee as requested.
- Abide by change control procedures in line with company best practices and policy.
- Undertake trend analysis for own area(s) of responsibility, making recommendations and implementing changes, as appropriate within the company’s strategic direction.
- Document and ensure existing and new solutions maintain SOC 2 / NIST CFS security compliance.
- Ensure compliance with BC standard operating procedures, maintain confidentiality through adherence to non-disclosure agreements, and uphold all security policies to protect sensitive information and maintain organizational integrity.
- Work efficiently on multiple projects.
- Lead and drive required system upgrades, improvements, or identified limitations.
- Successfully able to work remotely as a virtual team member.
- Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.
- Provides mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.
- Propose data driven solutions
- Proficiency with PowerShell / Azure CLI, and MS Graph Scripting
- Advanced understanding of Cloud / Branch Office Network & Firewall / MS Teams administration.

- Typically, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Significant experience in project planning, scheduling and client project delivery.
- Proven track record in problem solving and decision making at strategic level.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
