Lead the development, integration, and execution of complex research, engineering, and technology programs in support of defense agencies with broad and varied mission requirements.
- Oversee the execution and integration of CPI, BPR, and organizational efficiency initiatives to support the Space Portfolio Division's (SPD) mission.
- Coordinate process improvement efforts across teams to ensure alignment with SPD goals.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance and effectiveness.
- Lead business process redesign initiatives to increase productivity and quality.
- Optimize organizational resources and workflows to drive efficiency.
- Ensure all initiatives align with SPD's mission and Department of Defense priorities.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to clarify program goals, performance expectations, operational requirements, and resource availability.
- Manage day-to-day program operations by delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Initiate and lead planning and implementation activities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.
- Direct and coordinate all program activities, ensuring compliance with technical, administrative, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain accountability for program performance, including schedule, quality, cost, and risk management.
- Serve as primary liaison to government clients, senior leadership, and partner organizations to communicate program status and maintain mission alignment.
- Apply rigorous quality assurance and continuous improvement practices across all deliverables.
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and risks to ensure progress aligns with scope and schedule.
- Support proposal development, technical documentation, and other program-related deliverables as needed.
- Perform additional program management duties as assigned to support evolving customer requirements.
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Public Administration).
- Minimum of 20 years of program management experience, including leadership of large-scale, mission-critical federal or defense initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading complex research, engineering, and technology development programs for agencies with diverse operational requirements.
- PMP certification (or equivalent professional credential) required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to pass a US federal government background investigation and a drug screen.
