  • Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Fabricate and assemble test equipment, tools and fixtures in accordance with designs provided by engineering and test engineering.
  • Fabricate chassis, racks and cables per engineering drawings and working with engineers.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
  • Has a strong attention to detail and an understanding of how to read engineering drawings.
Typical Experience:
  • Associate degree and 1 Year of experience or equivalent experience/combined education

  • Ability to read, understand and work to electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams and drawings
  • Knowledge electrical fabrication, assembly and/or test tools and processes.
Desired skills
  • Experience building test racks and routing cables or wires, installing equipment into rack.
  • Experience building Chassis/Box Assemblies and routing wire in chassis.
  • Experience in using common electrical/fabrication tools.
  • Experience fabricating cables and harness.
  • Experience with common electrical tools for fabricating cables or racks.
