This role involves managing physical databases, designing and implementing back-up, recovery, archiving, and conversion strategies.Required Skills & Qualifications
Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2 basis.
Senior SQL Server Infrastructure DBA with at least 7 years of experience.
Proficiency in managing and maintaining data definitions in all production and non-production databases and replication servers.
Experience in designing and developing logical and physical layers of databases.
Strong skills in database distribution, security, and access requirements management.
Experience in troubleshooting SQL and migration of resources.
Ability to provide technical assistance and mentoring for developing conceptual and logical database design.
Experience in recommending, installing, and maintaining database software.
Evaluate and build SQL Servers, coordinate migration from one system to another.
Handle testing, reporting, back-up, and restores.
Monitor performance and assist application developers with tuning efforts.
